Hello, my name is Jaroslaw. For the last 12 months, I've been
working as a Junior Full stack Developer at
Huuuge Games, on a LiveOps system based on
TypeScript, Node.JS and
Angular. I am a programming enthusiast,
specializing in technology based on JavaScript. Previously, as a
Service Engineer Specialist at Konica Minolta, I have gained
experience in debugging faults, working with clients and paying
attention to detail. After hours
I was involved in programming two
ERP systems for window joinery companies and
delivered several web projects.
I've always been passionate about expanding and
applying the knowledge I gained at university ,
so I often spent my spare time developing software. Whether
building a website for a flower shop or creating one for my dad's
company, I was always working on something that involved
programming. In 2015, I landed another freelance opportunity:
developing software for a window joinery company. What began as a
straightforward project has since evolved into a
robust ERP system
that continues to grow and adapt to meet my client's needs. To
this day, I'm enhancing the software, adding new functionalities
to streamline their operations and improve efficiency. You can
read more about it in portfolio section.
I wrote my first website in Notepad, which didn't check code
syntax, highlight errors, has LiveServer or Prettier 😁. Now that
I use
Visual Studio Code, it's much easier thanks to
its extensions. Before I started working
full-time as a programmer, I spent more than a
year learning new technologies by completing
courses on Udemy.com. I started with JavaScript,
followed by React,
TypeScript and Node.JS. You can
find a full list of courses and their completion certificates in
the courses section. During my work as a Full stack Developer, I
use Copilot to help me with daily tasks. Using AI
is essential these days. I continue to develop
constantly by completing more courses, such as
Angular, Nest.JS and
RxJS.
About me
Portfolio
The JavaScript course I started in 2022 consisted of several projects, such as:
- Mapty (for marking workouts on a map, using Leaflet library)
- Forkify (finding recipes via API)
- Pig Game (game for two players, each of them rolls a dice)
- Guess Number (You have to guess secret number)
I didn't put them in the portfolio because they are not my projects, although I learned a lot from them. The same situation applies to the React course, which is entirely in my repo on GitHub or Build Responsive Websites course where We build this reaponsive Omnifood website. Additionally, I solve exercises on algorithmic problems from Neetcode - code is on my GitHub. Below are some of my projects that I wrote from scratch, they are not copies rewritten from Youtube, with the exception of the Snake game, which I improved by adding the best score memorization, pause game ability, touch controls, and Nokia 3310 feel.
